"Good Faith Estimate":
My full fee is $150 for individual psychotherapy sessions and $175 for couple sessions. I provide limited spots at a reduced rate if needed. Reach out and we can talk more about what this looks like/if you qualify. I do not accept insurance, but I am happy to provide you with a superbill/receipt for you to request reimbursement from your insurance company. Not all insurance companies provide reimbursement, and you will need to contact your provider to see if this is an option.
Clients may pay via cash, check, credit/debit, or HSA cards.
Under healthcare law, health care providers are now required as of 1/1/2022 to provide clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of costs of services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services with Katie Scott Psychotherapy. You can ask me or any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
